Help Page: How to Find on Page Feature (1:50)
This 2 minute video shows how to use the find on page feature.
Transcript: Use the "Find on Page" feature for quick and precise access to Bible chapters and verses.
How to Search for an Exact Bible Chapter and Verse:
1. Open the Bible book you're reading.
2. Use the "Find" feature and type the chapter number followed by a period (dot, full stop), then the verse number.
Example: To find Revelation 21:4, open the book of Revelation, access "Find on Page," and type 21.4. Press Enter, and you'll be taken directly to the verse.
Keyboard Shortcuts:
MacOS: Press Control-Option-F to activate "Find on Page."
Windows: Press Control-Alt-F to activate "Find on Page."
iPhone:
1. At the bottom of the screen, tap the share button.
2. Select "Find on Page", then type the chapter and verse (e.g., 21.4). It will navigate directly to the verse.
3. When using Voiceover touch the screen and it will read the verse out loud.
iPad:
1. At the top of the screen, next to the website address tap the share button.
2. Select "Find on Page", then type the chapter and verse (e.g., 21.4). It will navigate directly to the verse.
3. When using Voiceover touch the screen and it will read the verse out loud.
Braille Display:
Press Space-F to activate the search feature. Commands may vary, so to check or customize, go to:
Settings, then go to Commands, then go to Braille Displays.
From there, select your display model and review or change the commands as needed.
