Transcript: How to sing using Audio Description.

Presenter: A simple way for blind and low vision people to sing in synchronisation with others is by using earphones to listen to the lyrics before they are sung. There are two main methods to do this.

At conventions, it is possible to take with you an FM Radio and tune into the channel broadcasting the convention songs and videos with audio description. As the music is played the lyrics are spoken just before they are sung line, by line.

The second method, useful at congregation meetings is to use VoiceOver and manually swipe from left to right, to hear each line before it is sung.
To practise this skill, display song 2 ‘Jehovah is your name’ on your device with VoiceOver turned on. At the end of each line swipe from left to right.
