Transcript: Loyally Support the “Prince of Peace”
Brother 1: I am no part of the world.
[An older brother watches protests on the news]
But is the world a part of me?
[A dark skin sister pauses at a Billboard]
Sister: I’m pressured every day to get involved in political issues that affect me socially,
[The sign portrays raised fists of different races. On his tablet a young brother sees factories belching black smoke and a seal caught in plastic]
Brother 2: . . . environmentally,
[A logo of two hands holding up the earth, and the words 'Save our planet'. Now the older brother frowns at a debate on tv]
Brother 1: . . . and economically.
[News topic: looming debt crisis. The sister turns aways from a stand with the word 'justice'. A woman with a clipboard approaches her]
Sister: That pressure could rob me of my peace of mind
[She waves the woman away. The older brother with friends]
Brother 1: and influence how I think. I could take sides in my heart, even if I’m not aware of it.
[He shows them a news feed on his phone that reads 'Rising Poverty'. Now the young brother sees on his tablet a giant hand with a cloth on the earth]
Brother 2: But I know that Jehovah will care for all of mankind’s concerns
[Scenes of nature. The sun shines on the rotating earth. Seedlings sprout. Horses gallop across a field. Water cascades down a cliff. A whale breaches out of the ocean. Fish swarm in groups. Birds flit across the sky in a synchronised dance. Emerald, green northern lights swirl under the starry heavens]
by means of his Kingdom ruled by his Son, Jesus Christ.
[The sister smiles at a book of crowned Jesus raising a sceptre]
Sister: I show my support for him in my prayers,
Brother 1: in how I think and feel,
[The older brother and his wife beam as they watch JW Broadcasting. Their TV reads: What can you do to remain neutral?
